Trivestular
A truly convertible garment: there are nearly endless possibilities to wear this as a vest or a shawl!
With fingering weight yarn held double and a large needle size, this drapey marled knit will fly off your needles!
You can highlight each section by using different colors (and use up some of your leftover yarn!) or keep it more simple and neutral. Feel free to use different weights of yarn and needle sizes and knit to a different gauge! The first section (back) determines the size of the garment, and you can easily make adjustments to the shoulder width, armhole depth & length by knitting more/fewer rows. – This pattern can be easily adapted to any size and yarn weight!
Feel free to leave out the armholes if you want to knit this as a triangular shawl!
This vest is a modular knit: there is no seaming involved as sections are joined by picking up and knitting stitches from the selvedge of previous sections.
