The cowl is knit flat on the bias in one-color Brioche. The two short edges are seamed (or crocheted together) and form the back of the neck. The cowl can be worn folded, rolled, or unfolded.
Although written for fluffy Lace weight yarn in 5 sizes, the pattern can easily be customized for any yarn weight and gauge of your choice and/or to create a custom size.
16 sts / 21 rows = 10 cm / 4” in Brioche stitch (after blocking); can be worked at any gauge (see info below)
US 4/3.5 mm circular needles (or size needed to obtain gauge), 60-100 cm / 24-40” long or needle size for chosen gauge/yarn weight
larger needle size for bind-off (e.g., US 7/4.5 mm)
